Welcome to Cottage on the Cove! :) This beautiful home is everything you are looking for in a relaxing getaway! It is nestled among the trees giving you privacy without obstructing your water views. The home sits on a cove looking out to open water, which creates a perfect atmosphere for swimming and floating without having to worry about boat traffic. The property has a dock, the water which for most of the year is around 6' off the water side. Take in the views from either of the two large decks off the house (both which feel like you are sitting right on top of the water) or the separate deck area sitting just up from the dock.
The home itself is beautifully constructed with high ceilings in the kitchen and living room. From the living room, walk out to one of the two large decks overlooking the water. The upstairs has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two full beds. Downstairs is the master bedroom, another full bathroom, and a walkout to the second large porch. There is a crib located just outside the downstairs bedroom. Please note that this is not an enclosed space and is open to the upstairs. That said, my son sleeps just fine there. If bringing a baby, I would recommend a noise maker.
There is a kayak on the property, which is included in the rental and we have a variety of life jackets as well. There is also a water table, and variety of children's books/puzzles/toys for use during your stay. The grill available for use is a charcoal grill and we have a regular coffee maker.
