Summary: The hotel is in a prime location for exploring historic Charleston, and for the most part is fine …. but it’s showing its age and seems to lack an overall level of care. There were several things that lacked attention (fitted sheets that were so stretched they didn’t stay on the bed, missing/broken sink components, some things didn’t feel very clean). On site restaurant wasn’t great. Staff was welcoming and again, location is great….. just not sure the accommodations themselves are worth the price.
